I developed a logo and package design for Ootiko, a CPG brand making curd rice snack packs.
The brand name Ootiko comes from the Tamil word meaning 'feed yourself', an endearing term that moms say to children when serving meals. The word mark is meant to emulate this feeling of playfulness and excitement giving kids the agency to choose their favorite snack - curd rice being the ultimate comfort food.
I also created a logo mark of a hand feeding rice, adding to the homeyness and comfort of the brand.
The final label design features a larger version of the hand mark and an illustration of a serving of curd rice and the accompaniment - fresh pomegranate, mango pickle, lemon pickle, etc.
